Cades Cove Campground Store and Bike Rental

About Cades Cove Campground Store and Bike Rental

Part of the National Park. Provides Basic Bike Rentals.

Cycling Cades Cove is an absolute must-do ride for everyone and recommended for riders of all abilities. Our diverse rental fleet, offering bikes for all ages and levels provide for an enjoyable outing and the ideal way to see Cades Cove.

For persons who are concerned, as we are, about reducing their environmental footprint, cycling Cades Cove is one of the greenest ways to minimize your environment impact on the Cove and its wildlife.

Cades Cove Loop Road is normally closed to motor vehicle traffic starting the second week in May on Wednesday and Saturday mornings 7:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m., allowing bicyclists and pedestrians the ability to enjoy a pleasurable car-free cruise through the Cove while enjoying the serenity of the mountain air and abundant wildlife. This closure continues through the Wednesday before the last Saturday in September.

We strongly recommend that safety gear, including helmet, closed-toed shoes, and high visibility clothing, be worn by all bicyclists.

Children under 16 are required to wear a bicycle helmet in accordance with Tennessee State Law. Helmets are provided free of charge for bike rental customers.
